Sometimes it feels like just yesterday that I was sitting in labor for 16 hours, but then I look down to see my large boy climbing up my leg. Over the Christmas break, Jackson learned to stand up to things on his own. It only took doing it once for him to realize that he liked this new found freedom. When most kids learn to stand up to the couch, they are just tall enough to peer over the edge of the cushions. Not Jackson! He's a good head and a half taller than the couch cushions. Just tall enough to be able to reach to the back of the couch and grab anything that lays on it. NOTHING is safe anymore!
I had my friend watch him the other day, and she did a little photo shoot with him. He's getting so big too fast. But...as long as he's so tall...he might as well start trying on basketball shoes now...
He's definitely our blue-eyed boy.
While we were in Utah for Christmas, he was big enough to go on a ride with his Aunt Julie-Ann at Jungle Jim's. He wasn't quite sure what to think of it...he held on for dear life.
Oh my goodness Kathryn. Jackson might be the cutest boy I've ever seen. He's adorable! I'm so happy for you! What a fun age... :o)
